Howard has implied before that not all of Bethesda’s future games will be Xbox exclusives. Although if it’s intended as a timed exclusive there was no indication of that during Bethesda’s conference. While this can’t be read as an official confirmation, it sounds like Howard may be trying to find a way to get Starfield on other platforms. ‘Well, we’re still… I will just say I want everybody to have the ability to play it in some fashion.’ However, when asked by The Telegraph if he regrets not being able to release games on PlayStation platforms anymore, Howard seems to suggest that that’s not entirely the case.

And our hope is that each player feels like they could say, here’s who I want to be in this universe – and then we’re giving them an outlet to express that.’ ‘So we have one story that we’re telling, and then we have a lot of other ones, like we love to do. ‘It’s kind of like Skyrim in terms of the structure of the game, where you’re going to be who you want to be, and then there’s different factions that you can join, and really carve your own path.
